Hello, everyone!
Hope you are doing well! I am.....minus the bruises and cuts on my hands and arms. I have started a new project!
Some of you may have noticed that I have not been on the air much in the past few months. My brother has been staying with us and staying in my office/shack/dog-house. Well he has moved on, so it is time for me to get in there, clean up, rearrange, etc.
Got rid of the futon. Ripped up the carpet from that side of the room. clean out my desk, table, closet, and drawers. Time to clear out and reorganize!

Wow, that's a lot of junk!
Now let's get the rest of this ruined carpet up!
Holy crap! I didn't realize it would take this long or take so much effort to just cut carpet, roll it up, remove padding, and pull up over 200 staples from the carpet and pads! But at least it is DONE!
You might be wondering why I'm doing all of this.....Well, our home was bought years ago after it had been foreclosed upon. The person it belonged to had kept numerous dogs in what is now my office. There were stains, tears and rips in the floor, and an ungodly stench on hot days! I was finally to my breaking point and tired of dealing with it! So I decided it was time to rip everything up and either put down new flooring or just seal the wood.
It was at this point I found a link online that gave me a great idea. A cheap way to make it look like it is hardwood flooring! So I went to get some of the supplies needed and started working.....

Now I have a thick coat of Kilz on the floor drying. Unfortunately, I do not have the money to get the boards required for the flooring as per the
link I mentioned above. So for now this will have to do.

I have until tomorrow at 1300 to get that floor dried, get my work bench built, get my desk back in the room, relocate my coax, and get everything cleaned up before my wife gets home and sees her house in chaos! lol.
Guess this means when I get off tonight at midnight I need to get home and check the floor and if it is dry then get to work on building my work bench.
